The documentary showed the achievements of the indigenous nurses in Australia. It showed their skills, capabilities, and the pride that the indigenous nurses show in their profession. During the presentation, I realized that the indigenous people have the same capabilities. During my tenure in Australia, I realized that there will be several significant barriers in the growth and development of the indigenous nurses. I realized that the aboriginals have to face several discrimination and barriers during their tenure in the business organizations. I realized that in the healthcare industry too, indigenous people face a lot of discrimination as a patient or as a nurse. We were shown another video, in which it was discussed that the discrimination against the community can have significant impact on the aboriginal community. The nurses should establish positive relations with every patient. It will also help in providing accurate and effective treatment. Finally, Eric drinks but Gerald is much more in control of himself. Through these differences and similarities, both Eric and Gerald moved Eva closer to her death as they both left her to cope on her own. Gerald started her decline and then Eric followed by capping it. Gerald broke Evas heart, and although this was not the case with Eric, he forced her into the relationship which may have made her feel awful. Eva experienced emotional damage as Gerald opened up her mind to possibilities that she couldnt have. However, the final straw for Eva was when she found out that she was pregnant, and that Eric, the unborn babys father, had abandoned her. As a result of this, Eva no longer wished to go on and committed suicide. This leads me to believe that Eric is more to blame for Evas death. I was in that state when a chap turns nasty. This shows that Eva could have easily been scared to go against Erics will. Gerald however made Eva happier than shed ever been before. Although their relationship was never intended it grew because Gerald made her happy by helping her.  During the cross-examination, Eric portrays socialist views and takes more responsibility for Evas death than Gerald.

If I created some artificial universe, say a computer simulation- why ever would I want my little forms to worship me? Where as in the concept of religion Heaven for the chosen few, and Hell for the majority of human kind. The Integrative Curriculum Model focuses on the use of multidisciplinary approach and contributes to the close integration of all disciplines (Avery VanTassel-Baska, 2001). As for the Parallel Curriculum Model, this model allows students to focus on the specific field they are interested in. On the other hand, each model has its own disadvantages. William and Mary Center for Gifted Education Research Model tends to overestimate the aesthetic development of students and individual approach to each student, whereas the Parallel Curriculum Model focuses on the practical aspects of the development, underestimating the significance of creative and aesthetic development of students. The Integrative Curriculum Model does not always allow students to focus on the narrow, specific field, which may be helpful for their future professional development. BEST MODEL On comparing the three models, it is possible to distinguish William and Mary Center for Gifted Education Research Model as the best model. Obviously, William and Mary Center for Gifted Education Research Model provides students with ample opportunities to realize their full potential. At the same time, educators can develop an individual approach to each student and develop their creativity. In such a way, educators can identify gifted students and develop their talents. Today, the creative development of students is essential because the highly technological society and information age raise the demand on creative professionals. In addition, William and Mary Center for Gifted Education Research Model helps to the personal development of students. As a result, this model contributes to the broad development of students, shapes their values, views, norms and standards. In fact, this model prepares students to the adult life and allows them to find their own way in the professional de velopment and in their personal life. Lawyer Lawyers function mutually as both advocates and advisers. As advocates, they embody their clients in court by providing supportive evidence. As advisers, they advise their clients on their legal rights and obligations. Lawyers (also known as attorneys and counselors) can interpret laws and are to apply these laws to a specific situation. Lawyers spend a large amount of their work time involved in researching precedents, which are past explanations of laws and the history of judicial judgments based on that law. Precedents are used to support a lawyer’s case in court. Every law firm has its’ own libraries and public documents to computer databases and the Internet that are available to lawyers for research. A large amount of lawyers have their own private practices that deal with all kinds of legal problems. Some go off to work for larger law firms, government agencies, and corporations. What attracted me to being a lawyer originally if I could be perfectly honest is the salary that they make. Coming up from a poor background a lawyer was one of the few careers talked about while I was growing up that make a lot of money. But as I got older I found out that there are different types of lawyers like environmental and family lawyers that make less then say a corporate lawyer but are fighting for what is in my opinion good causes. ------------------------------ Famous contributors Thurgood Marshall was the chief legal counsel for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and fought for the rights of color folks and the ending of segregation in schools with the most famous and talked about being Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka. President John F. Most police officers patrol their jurisdictions and inspect any activity that seems suspicious. They are also responsible for answering 911 emergency calls and investigate cases like domestic violence, home invasion, etc. Uniformed police officers have broad law enforcement responsibilities. They wear a uniform that is easily recognizable by the public. They respond to emergency calls and go for regular patrols. Police departments are typically structured into geographical boroughs, with uniformed officers dispersed to patrol a particular area. Officers in large agencies regularly patrol with a partner. During patrols, officers are on the lookout for any signs of criminal activity and are always on the ready to conduct searches or arrest suspected criminals.

Storytelling: A Reflection of Ourselves What’s the first thing that pops into your head when you think of storytelling? Is it the countless nights you laid in bed as a child listening intently to stories that made you believe you could be and do anything; you could be a pirate day and an astronaut tomorrow or even a detective outsmarting the bad guys like Sherlock Holmes and Watson or Nancy Drew. Or perhaps you think of that lecture in your high school or college history class when your professor showed you a documentary or a movie that introduced you to a part of the world, group of people, or a movement like The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 or Rob Marshall’s adaptation of Arthur Golden’s Memoirs of a Geisha that left you with a hunger†¦show more content†¦I grew up as a Pastor’s grandchild, a wholly different experience than my mom’s complicated experience as the â€Å"Preacher’s kid†. As a pastor my grandmother has what I always thought was an unwavering belief system in which God is everything, school wouldn’t get you to heaven, men were meant to sow their wild oats, and women were meant to diligently wait for their return. These were the lessons, the stories she impressed upon her children and left whispers upon the grandkids.
